Netty's Tail Waggin' Pet Services - Pet Sitting and Dog Walking
 Meet Our Team

Hi! My name is Netty. I'm the owner of "Netty's Tail Waggin' Pet Services".
I was born in Germany and grew up with a variety of pets. I have always loved spending time with animals. I like to watch them, learn from them, bring them joy. In return they bring me a great deal of joy and happiness. I currently have 2 dogs. Max is a Yellow Lab - Fox Hound - Akita Mix and Paris a German Shepherd Mix. I'm a certified dog trainer since May 2009. I'm also certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. In Germany I have worked in a zoo, which was a great experience. Currently I work as a technician at a veterinary hospital. I would love to meet you and your pets. My team and I are determined to go the extra mile for the best pet care services and to offer you a peace of mind.

Hi! My name is Cindy. I owned a fun and thriving pet sitting business in the Broomfield area for 4 ½ years when I sadly developed bone-on-bone arthritis in my feet and could no longer walk dogs.  After meeting with a local business coach, I decided to start a Virtual Assisting Business called Achieve Business Solutions to help busy business owners, especially pet sitting businesses, with the daily tasks of running their businesses.  With my life-long love of animals and a passion for helping people, I enjoy working as Netty's Virtual Office Manager and love to see all the adorable pet pictures that come in from our pet sitters.  Netty and her team are incredibly professional and kind, plus Netty's clients are super fun to work with.  So, I'm honored to be a part of Netty's team.

Hello! My name is Carol. I grew up in Boulder and lived in San Francisco for 18 years. I grew up with a cat, Scruffy, numerous fish and guinea pigs, along with an "escape artist" snail that would climb out of his bowl daily! Today we have two guinea pigs, Buddy and Brownie, they are brothers! Soon we hope to add a dog and cat to our family! How could you not love animals? All they want is love, affection and food (& fresh water too), in exchange they give you love, affection, friendship and become part of your family (even fish!). I enjoy being a part of Netty's team since December 2013, meeting new animals and making them feel good while their parents are away!

Paula Nichols joined Netty's team in 2012 and has really enjoyed caring for the wide variety of pets that she has met over the years. As well as working on Netty's team, Paula is the Director of Music at Atonement Lutheran Church in Boulder, and a part-time music teacher for the Boulder Valley School District. When not working, she enjoys visiting her 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Paula's good friend Sadie, a Mini Aussie, is her walking buddy and loyal companion!

Hello! My name is Kathleen and I have lived in Colorado for 25 years.  My sisters and I always had a large friendly dog and a variety of small animals to play with while we were growing up in Eastern Virginia. Summers and weekends, I would go to a nearby farm to ride horses and learn to care for the goats and chickens and other farmyard animals. These days, my husband and I live with two cats: a gorgeous Siamese male and a feisty calico female.  When I am not taking care of your animal companions, I am running my own art and jewelry business.  My favorite subject?  Animals of course! I am honored that I will have the opportunity to spend time with your precious pets. (Joined Feb. 20th, 2015)

Hello! My name is Emily. I am a Colorado native that has always held a love for the outdoors and for pets of all kinds!  In the past, I have worked as a dog trainer, pet sitter and for a while competed in equestrian sports such as show jumping and hunter under saddle. I enjoy hiking, running or just being near my sweet, 11 year old Boston Terrier/Australian Cattle dog mix, Maggie.  For many years I had the pleasure of having a sweet, yet spirited horse as well as caring for diverse number of species in my reef aquarium. I also have had the honor of caring for a wide variety of pets in the past: from cats and parrots to livestock and reptiles. I have a background in social work, but have moved back to my first love: caring for animals. I am very excited to join Netty’s team in providing excellent care to many wonderful pets! Hi! My name is Kayla and I’ve been a part of Netty’s team since September 2017. As a Colorado native, raised in Boulder, I have a passion for the outdoors, exercise and most of all, animals! I grew up with various animals surrounding me; my home I had cats, fish, and turtles… in my backyard I had deer, coyotes, and the occasional bear…and I’ve played surrogate to many dogs, mice and guinea pigs throughout the years. I’ve spent the past 3 years abroad.

Hi! My name is Kristen and I am passionate about pets and their people. Living with 7 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 rabbits, animal care and husbandry are deeply ingrained in my interests and daily routine - and I wouldn't have it any other way! I'm thrilled to be part of Netty's team and to be able to continue working with the animals that make our lives whole, regardless of size, species, or special needs.
When I'm not taking care of pets, you'll probably find me photographing them; I am a professional pet photographer at Soul Dog Studios, serving the Boulder area and beyond! I invite you to view my work at: www.SoulDogStudios.com.
Thank you for the opportunity to get to know your pets! I look forward to our adventures together! (Joined September 2017)

Hi! My name is Rachel and I moved to Boulder in August with my boyfriend and our cat Cleo. I grew up in California where my family had a weakness for adopting our foster kittens. I grew up with lots of cats and a loving, shy dog. I've always loved being around animals. There are pictures of me as a baby with a cat sleeping on top of me! I started pet sitting 4 years ago and have loved taking care of other people's sweet babies. I've gotten to take care of dogs, cats, rabbits and chickens. I'm happy to be on Netty's team and have had fun meeting lots of dogs! (Joined September 2017)

Hi everyone, my name is Mareike and its my immense pleasure to be a new member of Netty’s team. I grew up in Mexico City and Germany, but have been living in the USA for 11 years; mostly bouncing between Colorado and other coastal states. Outside of my schoolwork and regular job; I enjoy hiking, swimming, scuba/free diving, traveling, taking pictures, enjoying some good food or learning more about our big world. I am looking forward to taking care of your furry babies. (Joined November 2017)

Hello everyone and greetings and friendly wags from my pack as well! My name is Annika and I moved to Colorado from Vermont some years ago. As a kid I always enjoyed playing outside and had a keen interest and intrigue of nature and of all of Earth’s creatures great and small. I grew up horseback riding and was always taking in injured and orphaned wildlife. Today I still will take in wildlife in need and transition them to a wildlife rehab. I have always loved animals of all varieties. I currently own a retired racing greyhound I adopted a couple of years ago, a Brazilian rainbow boa, and I co-own two beautiful older dogs from the shelter with my twin. I have a special love of sighthounds and work as a volunteer with a wonderful group to promote adoption of retired racing greyhounds and other sighthounds. I am certainly one of those quirky greyhound people! I actively foster greyhounds and other sighthounds as well and I am also a beekeeper!
In my free time I enjoy spending it with the pack enjoying open space and the amazing mountain trails all over Colorado. I love all creatures great and small and am so happy to be a part of Netty’s team. I find animals are so rewarding and incredible teachers for us all if we just take the time to listen to their messages, both subtle and not, and learn from their authentic and unconditional ways. My favorite part of caring for other people's animals is the beautiful bonds I get to make knowing the animal as an individual. To me nothing is more unbeatable than that and being able to be of service to them. I see every animal as a friend to me who is in my care . I look forward to getting to know and care for yours! Hi! We are Netty's fur babies Max (11) & Paris (16). Her best friends, on 4 legs that is. We get to come along to most of Netty's dog walks. We like making new friends. If your best friend is interested in having a walking companion, please let us know and we will have a little play date. That would just make our day.
